A Goal To Seal The Deal- Mayo vs Donegal

The Mayo ladies’ triumph winning streak continued as there was a goal difference to seal off the victory today in Bekan.

It was Donegal who opened the scoreline between the two but it was a neck and neck battle between the two top table teams on the National League table.

It was Sinead Walsh who opened the scoreline in the eighth minute followed by crucial goals by Shauna Howley and Sinead Walsh that continued the red and green dominance.

Although every Mayo player made sure to put Michael Moyles on notice, notable performances such as captain Kathryn Sullivan’s interception which lead to Mayo’s second goal, Veteran Fiona McHale ,Shauna Howley adding to Mayo’s scoreline.

It was a great battle between the two top teams in the league and it was an excellent display from great footballers from each county.

Michael Moyles will be delighted with his sides great display today but the focus will now lay on All Ireland Champions Meath.

Congrats to Michael and the ladies on the great win and best of luck against Meath
